A shrimp feed pellet mill compacts feed mash into small pellets for shrimp ponds. Pellets must stay intact in water, so pellet quality matters as much as output.
Shrimp eat feed in several sizes as they grow. Changing the ring die lets one mill run starter feed through grow-out feed, from 1 to 6 mm.
Model choice follows the plant’s target output. The SZLH range starts with compact units and goes up to high-capacity models. Every unit uses a full stainless steel conditioner, and two- or three-layer conditioning can be customized.
Beyond the mill itself, Luodate Machinery supplies the hammer mill, mixer and cooler that go around it. The shrimp feed line is sized to the feed type and the output a project needs.
Technical Parameter:
Power is transmitted through a high-accuracy gearbox. Efficiency stays high when the mill runs for long hours.
The whole conditioner is stainless steel, with added capacity. Better conditioned mash presses into more durable pellets.
An electromagnetic speed-controlled feeder meters mash into the die. Overload protection and a strong magnetic safety device guard the machine while it runs.
Output is high and running noise is low. Servicing is limited to routine checks and die changes.
Bearings and standard parts are imported. They are selected for dependable running under continuous load.
Two- or three-layer conditioners can be fitted. This lets the mill match different shrimp feed formulas and conditioning levels.

Production Process
Shrimp feed runs through one continuous line, and every stage has to keep pace with the pellet mill. Raw ingredients are reduced in the hammer mill, then blended in a paddle mixer until the batch is uniform. Before pressing, the mash is conditioned to prepare it for the die. The pellets that leave the shrimp feed pellet mill are hot and soft, so a cooler stabilises them and a screener removes dust and broken pieces. The finished feed is packed for storage and transport.
Pellets for shrimp are the main output, and the same mill can also run fish and crab feed. Different dies cover the feed grades used at each growth stage.
Shrimp feed is made in small sizes. The mill runs from 1 to 6 mm, with a die change for each grade.
Output runs from 2 to 28 t/h across the range, with main drive power from 45 kW to 315 kW. Tell us your target output and we will match the model to it.
