In April 2026, Mr. Hussein from Saudi Arabia signed a contract with Luodate to purchase a complete animal feed production line with a capacity of 10 metric tons per hour (Model: SZLH 420). Four months later, in August, five containers of equipment had been packed at our factory and were ready for shipment—however, this coincided with a new round of turmoil in Middle Eastern shipping, making it exceptionally difficult to export goods from China.
The escalation of the Middle East conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz threw container shipping into chaos. Shipping capacity became scarce, surcharges skyrocketed, and confirmed bookings were frequently delayed or canceled. For this order, the customer required the goods to arrive at the port on time, putting our original shipping schedule at risk.
Instead of passing the problem on to the client, Lodat’s international trade team worked closely with the freight forwarder to actively secure space, ensuring the booking process continued to move forward. Throughout this process, they maintained constant communication, keeping the client updated on the latest shipping schedule developments at all times. Ultimately, the goods were shipped from the United Arab Emirates and delivered to the client.
In the end, all five containers were successfully shipped, and the client received the goods on time. Currently, the production line has entered the installation and commissioning phase, with Lodat’s engineers on-site providing technical support.
“Delivering the equipment is just one part of the process,” said an export manager at Lodat. “What the client truly values is whether we can deliver the goods to their port within the promised timeframe. This order is a prime example of why we chose to establish our own export and logistics team, rather than leaving shipping matters entirely to chance.”
